Inside Out 2 has stormed the theaters this summer, certainly creating envy by crossing the $1 billion mark in the worldwide box office. The Disney/Pixar film has climbed the ranks and entered the exclusive billion-dollar club since its June 14 release, which includes 53 other films.

Nine other animated films have surpassed a billion dollars, with The Lion King (2019) the highest earner at $1.6 billion, followed by Frozen 2 (2019) at $1.4 billion, and the 2023 summer smash The Super Mario Bros Movie with $1.3 billion.
